Why I admire vex
Vex, I have just learnt, adopts griffons. I badly want to do this too.
As a language enthusiast, I feel reading his entries is like unwrapping a box of finest chocolates, every word a carefully selected piece of deliciousness. I’m really curious if his speech is similar to his writing.
We met to exchange books (BookCrossing is a new discovery for me) and chitchat a bit. We talked about all kinds of things (and we didn’t even get to running or Swedish!), had a short walk and an ice cream. All in all, an afternoon well spent. :)
As far as I know, she origins not from Ljubljana and Slovenia … she’s from Croatia, right?
And I was wondering: how did she became so fluent in Slovene, as well as in English; does she still know everything in Croatian; how many other languages does she also speak?
She is obviosly a highly (over?) educated lady, and I am a pretty intelligent guy myself as well, so … the chat could be very nice.
We are both passionate about books for start.
And I could tell her about all the goodies that running can give: being wonderul even without an MP3 player, keeping mind in order, ...
